Proverbs 25 Love Your Enemy

Scripture:  Proverbs 25:21,22  If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat; if he is thirsty, give him water to drink.  In doing this you will heap burning coals on his head, and the Lord will reward you.

Observation:  We need to do the opposite of what our human nature wants to do.  Being ugly to those we consider our enemies will not win their hearts for Christ.

Application:  Be kind when I want to be ugly to my enemy. Pray for them.  Go above and beyond and bless them.

Prayer:  Dear Lord,  You know how hard it is to bless others when they curse us. Please help me to be kind and loving to my enemies and maybe help their hearts to soften towards you.

Amen
